This policy applies to the ROUTE56 website at route56race.com. Event registration, payment, results, training, merchandise and email-list services may be operated by external providers under their own privacy terms.
Information collected
What enters the system.
Race Alerts
When you subscribe, the email address you provide is sent to the configured Mailchimp audience. ROUTE56 does not need to collect that address in a separate first-party database for this form to work.
Contact form
The contact form may collect your name, email address, selected topic, optional event or race-number context, message and privacy acknowledgement. The delivered build is configured for Netlify Forms; the production host or approved form provider will process and store submissions.
Basic technical information
Hosting and external providers may automatically receive connection data such as IP address, browser, device, referring page, requested URL, date, time and server logs. The delivered website does not include an active advertising tracker or behavior-recording tool.

External providers
When another lane handles the data.
- Mailchimp handles Race Alert subscriptions and unsubscribe requests.
- Netlify or the final hosting/form provider may handle contact-form submissions and hosting logs.
- Race Result provides participant, live and final-result pages. Its embedded content loads only after consent in this build.
- Square may handle merchandise checkout, payment and fulfillment information.
- HIIT56, HIIT56 Online and Boutique56 operate their own websites, purchases and forms.
- Instagram and TikTok operate external social pages. ROUTE56 videos displayed on this website are owner-supplied, self-hosted production exports; following a social link leaves this website and becomes subject to that platform’s terms.

Retention and choices
Control the signal.
Mailing-list subscribers can use the unsubscribe link in any campaign. Contact-form information should be retained only as long as needed to answer the request, maintain an operational record or meet applicable obligations. You may use the contact form to request access, correction or deletion where the request and applicable law support it.
Security
Reasonable controls, honest limits.
ROUTE56 uses structured forms, spam-reduction fields, secure external links and host-level security headers in the delivered build. No transmission or storage system is guaranteed to be perfectly secure. Do not submit passwords, payment-card numbers, sensitive medical details or emergency information through the general contact form.
Children
General website use.
The general website is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children through the contact or Race Alert forms. Event participation requirements and guardian consent must be stated in the event-specific registration process before registration opens.
Changes and contact
Policy updates.
This policy may be updated when the website, providers, event operations or applicable requirements change. The revision date will change when material edits are published.
